About Us

White Rock Lavender Estate or as we call the farm - WRLE, was born from two families, two traditions, and one shared vision.

Where one family roots stretch back through generations of vegetable farmers. The family lived by the rhythms of the land, rising with the sun, sowing, harvesting, and trusting the earth to provide. From them we inherited resilience, stewardship, and a farmer’s pride in producing something that nourishes both body and community.

Our other family roots began in South India, where the rituals of self-care are not just luxuries but part of daily life. From ayurvedic remedies to the tradition of hair oiling, growing up surrounded by practices that taught us how nature’s gifts sustain balance and wellbeing. These rituals, passed from mother to daughter for generations, became part of who daily life.

Together we found a home along the Macquarie River, whose steady flow sustains the land as it has for centuries. Here we planted lavender, a symbol of calm and renewal, which flourishes in our fields and has become the heart of our estate.

WRLE is the union of two families where farming heritage and cultural traditions are woven into a modern expression of slow living. Every product and experience, every harvest of lavender, and every ritual we share reflects this meeting of worlds—the farmer’s soil, the river’s flow, and the timeless wisdom of self-care.

At WRLE, we invite you to pause, reconnect, and rediscover rituals that honor both the earth and yourself.
